Bridal make up
I have over ten years specialising in bridal make- up, my aim with all my brides is that she should look and feel like a million dollars, her make- up should be perfect. It not only has to enhance the Bride’s features, it also has to reflect her personality, and most of all have staying power, but without altering her individual style.
Most bridal make-up is either “classic” or “natural” this ensures she looks her very best in the photographs and they won’t date with time. Whether you want to have your make up applied professionally or be taught some new techniques to do your own, you can be sure you’ll look “Simply Divine”
Pre-wedding consultation
It is absolutely vital that a trial run is held prior to the wedding day, so that you are confident and comfortable with the way you are going to look. It is also an ideal opportunity for you, and even your bridesmaid and mums to learn about the importance of a good skin care routine and suitable products for your skin type. I so often meet ladies who are using the wrong type of products, by understanding about your skin type you are half way to a beautiful glowing complexion, and achieving the best make up results. So ideally your consultation should take place about 6 months before your wedding date, by getting started as soon as possible you can ensure that you look radiant on your special day and beyond.
At your trial we will discuss any ideas you have, what your normal day and evening make up consists of, your gown, bridesmaids dresses, colour theme, flowers etc. This allows me to find out a bit about your personality, in order for me to create the perfect make– up look for you. After which I will prepare your skin with products suitable for your skin type, and apply your make– up, making any adjustments until you are COMPLETELY satisfied with your look.
The pre-wedding consultation usually lasts between an hour and a half to two hours and all my clients find it a very enjoyable experience, a chance for some pre- wedding pampering.
Wedding day make- up
On the day of your wedding I will arrive at your home or venue at the pre- arranged 
time. If your hair stylist is coming to you then I will prepare your skin with a relaxing and calming mini facial using the skin care products I previously advised or your own skin care range. This is the perfect time for you to relax and enjoy the start of your special day. Then pass you to your stylist .I will then apply the make up to any bridesmaids or mums or any other guests, before returning to you to creating your unique bridal make up look.
Pre- wedding pampering
Lets not forget the brides hands and feet. This is one day your hands are going to be constantly on show, as everyone wants to admire your wedding ring, so its worth paying them some extra attention. A good manicure is essential or even natural looking nail extensions. And for a little added luxury if you have chosen strappy sandles a pedicure is a must, it's is a lovely way to relax, maybe spend some time with girlfriends drinking champagne and having a pedi-party!
